This is a work-from-home position, selling advertising space to business clients. It is a commission-based position.
You need to have a home 'landline' phone, fax, and an ABN number (as a contractor to Local Media Pty Ltd).

About The Position
The Telesales position is selling advertising space to business clients. You work from your own home.
We supply you with 'warm' sales leads - delivered to your home. You work from a set presentation script.
You are paid a lucrative commission rate, plus there is an easily-achieveable bonus scheme for all telephone call reimbursement.

In this position, you are supplied with a fresh list of Sales Prospects. These lists include clients' business names, phone numbers - and a copy of their latest ad.
You contact the business and organise their advertising.
Earn What You Are Worth
We want you to earn the Best possible weekly earnings. There is no upper limit - we have totally uncapped weekly earnings potential.
Earnings as an Advertising Sales Agent are directly in proportion to your own success/effort ... and determination.
We ask Advertising Sales Agents to work with us as contractors. You need to have your own ABN. You need to take your own professional advice whether this arrangement suits you.
You Are Paid Weekly
Melbourne Suburban Newspapers requests a prompt weekly invoice from its Advertising Sales Agents, lodged by every Monday night.
Weekly payments (by our company cheque) are paid to Advertising Sales Agents, by the following Wednesday week (seven business days later, to allow for clearance of clients' cheques and card transactions).
We pay an agreed straight 20 per cent commission rate. We pay on time. We dispatch all weekly payments by Express Post to Agents every Tuesday afternoon.
To take maximum advantage of potential taxation benefits, you pay and organise your own insurances, holiday and leave entitlements, your own telephone account and office expenses.
